My stay at Hotel V Frederiksplein was a mix of pleasant experiences and a few disappointments. The staff were friendly and efficient, and I really appreciated the excellent buffet breakfast. However, the room felt cramped with not enough storage space, and the noise from the surrounding area made it hard to sleep well.

Rooms

The room I stayed in was small and lacked adequate storage. There were two single beds pushed together, which was somewhat inconvenient. The soundproofing left a lot to be desired, as I could easily hear noise from neighboring rooms.
Service

Staff were particularly helpful. They were kind and accommodating, and I appreciated their assistance during my stay, especially with my breakfast requests.
Location

Hotel V Frederiksplein is in a great spot. Just a 10-minute walk to the city center and right next to tram stops, making it easy to explore Amsterdam.
Dining

The breakfast was by far one of the highlights of my stay. It included a variety of tasty options such as pastries, cereals, and fresh fruit.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were limited. There wasn't a kettle in the room for tea or coffee, and I found the lack of basic amenities like a vending machine quite surprising.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel V Frederiksplein. The location was fantastic-close to tram stops and in a cool area. My room was clean and modern, but it was quite small, making it hard to manage luggage. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really enhanced my stay.

I recently stayed at Hotel V Frederiksplein for two nights and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, with a tram stop right outside and a short walk to the museums. However, the breakfast situation left something to be desired, as it was not the traditional buffet I expected. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was functional and cozy, though on the smaller side. I appreciated the clean bed and nice design, though I did wish for a bit more space to unpack my suitcase. A bigger bathroom would have been a plus as well.
Service

The staff were a highlight of my stay. Agnes at check-in made us feel welcomed with her relaxed and professional manner. The reception team, including Diane, was attentive and full of local tips, which made navigating Amsterdam easier.
Location

I loved the location of the hotel; it was in a nice area away from the chaos of the city center but still within a reasonable distance. The tram connections made it easy to get to popular sights like the Van Gogh Museum in no time.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was served on platters, which I found a bit disappointing compared to a buffet setup. While everything was tasty, the limited options didn't meet my expectations for a hotel breakfast.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had good facilities, and I appreciated the clean environment and relaxing seating area by the fire. They offered tours and ticket assistance, which I found practical for exploring the city.

I had a good time at Hotel V Frederiksplein, though the experience wasn't without its flaws. The location is fantastic, being close to public transport and within walking distance of many attractions. The room was tidy and clean, but I found it to be quite small and a bit cramped. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and accommodating, which certainly enhanced my stay.

Rooms

The room was small and basic, but clean with a comfortable bed. There wasn't much storage, and I struggled a bit with the cramped bathroom. However, it was quiet, which I appreciated.

The hotel's location is ideal. Just a short walk from tram stations and close to several cafes and attractions, providing easy access to the city's highlights.

Breakfast was included and while basic, it offered decent options, including pastries and alternative milk for cereal. The bar area was lovely but limited in drink selections.
Facilities

Facilities were adequate but could be improved. The lift was ridiculously small, which made me prefer the stairs, and I missed having tea or coffee-making facilities in the room.
